現(xiàn)在才知道，原來(lái)汕尾的英文名是寫(xiě)成Swabue，學(xué)習(xí)了。

圖片中的民國(guó)時(shí)期的樓房在汕尾我只在紅宮見(jiàn)過(guò)，二馬路的跟這個(gè)有點(diǎn)像。不知道汕尾那里還有民國(guó)時(shí)期的樓房

Google了一下，婦女傳教士協(xié)會(huì)（Women's Missionary Association ）即“英國(guó)長(zhǎng)老會(huì)”(English Presbyterian Mission)的秘書(shū)簡(jiǎn).克雷格小姐(Miss Jane Craig)在1926年至1933年期間曾在汕尾開(kāi)辦了“汕尾女子學(xué)�！保⊿wabue Girls' School）（汕美嘉德女校），這些照片是一個(gè)叫做瑪利.佩頓（Mary Paton）的人收集的，現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該是存放在南加州大學(xué)圖書(shū)館里。

找了一個(gè)晚上沒(méi)睡，樓主加個(gè)我的名好哦。。。
上面的照片都是在汕尾照的，是英國(guó)傳教士瑪麗.佩頓（Mary Paton）我們叫董瑪麗姑娘在汕尾傳教時(shí)照的。
基督教會(huì)在汕尾建立了婦女學(xué)校，嘉德女子學(xué)校，作嘉小學(xué)（遺址都在二馬路和新興街中間的禮拜堂巷，解放后改成汕尾第一小學(xué)，現(xiàn)在是鳳山街道第三小學(xué)），福音醫(yī)院（現(xiàn)在的汕尾人民醫(yī)院，海陸豐西醫(yī)的搖籃）

嘻嘻。。昨晚無(wú)事做，用汕尾的英文舊寫(xiě)：swabue 在google上面搜索了一下的驚奇發(fā)現(xiàn)。就整理了一個(gè)晚上發(fā)到了百度的汕尾吧。
而且用swabue搜索還可以搜索到，1924年汕尾發(fā)生饑荒星加坡海峽時(shí)報(bào)的報(bào)道及當(dāng)?shù)鼐杩钋闆r。1929年英國(guó)泰吾士報(bào)關(guān)于彭湃和海陸豐政權(quán)的報(bào)道。1933年美軍繪制的汕尾航道地圖。還有香港報(bào)紙日軍的登陸汕尾報(bào)道。
